We learned in another lesson to correctly identify three-dimensional models, otherwise known as geometric solids.  Now let's take a look at how to draw some.

 

Step One: Draw a square



Step Two:  Draw three
new lines



Step Three:  Connect
those lines



The above steps could be used for a rectangular prism as well.  Just draw a rectangle instead of a square!

Step One: Draw a triangle



Step Two:  Draw two
new lines



Step Three:  Connect
those lines



Step One: Draw a circle



Step Two: To look 3-D we must draw a curved line to show the front and a dotted line to show the back.

Step One: Draw two ovals parallel to each other



Step Two: Connect the two ovals on the left and right sides



Step One: Draw two lines at a slant going in the opposite direction



Step Two: Connect the two lines with a curved line



Step Three: Draw a dotted curved line to show the back of the solid
