Some problems are visual. They may involve objects, places, or physical situations. To solve such a problem, draw a picture to show relationships among the given data. Then use the relationships to find the answer.

Example

There are 26 students in the class with siblings. Eleven students have brothers. Seven students have brothers and sisters. How many students have only sisters?

 

There are 8 students who have only sisters.
