DIVISION

When dividing a decimal number by a whole number, remember:
  • to ignore the decimal point while actually dividing.
  • to annex zeroes if the quotient doesn't come out even (remainder of 0)
  • after dividing is done, place decimal point in the quotient directly above where it was in the dividend.
