Open Sentence (in Math)
is a math equation
that contains a variable.

Remember:
A
"variable" is a number that has yet to be decided.

Examples:

y + 7 = 10
is an Open Sentence

y
is the variable

3
would make the sentence true.

would make the sentence true.
