Intermediate Test Prep Math 8 (Grade 6) Zero Property

Zero Property of multiplication means that any number multiplied by zero always equals zero.

It's that easy! 5 x 0 = 0

So it doesn't matter what number is multiplied by zero, you always get zero for an answer!

The product of zero and a number is 0.
0 x 4 = 0	4 x 0 = 0
Think: "zero."

Example

3 targets with 0 arrows.

3 x 0 = 0

So, there are 0 arrows in all.

Remember: When one of the factors is zero, the product is zero.
