A collection of
poems where school supplies come to life. A fun way to start
off
the school year reading about pencils, paperclips, pens and all the things
students
come with when the school year begins. After reading a few of these
poems aloud
discuss with the children personification and how it is used by both the
author and
illustrator in this book. Have each student choose a school supply
to write a poem
about giving it human characteristics.
