Lemonade for Sale

Julie was always playing games on her computer, but she was tired of the same games. She needed a way to make some money so she could buy some new ones.  It was a hot summer day and she had a great idea.  On a big board she wrote the words "Lemonade for Sale" and put it in her front yard.  She set up her table with cups, lemonade, and some ice and waited for her first sale.  Julie wasn't there long before her neighbor came over for a cup of lemonade.  Soon more of Julie's neighbors stopped over and people driving by stopped too.   At noon she stopped for lunch.
When Julie counted her money she couldn't believe that she had made $5.00 already.  She only needed another $6.00 to buy her computer game.  Her mom told her if she earned enough money she would take her to the mall to buy a new game.  She quickly ate her lunch, made more lemonade, and hoped her afternoon would be just as busy.
Julie was just bringing her fresh lemonade out of the house when a girl scout troop drove up and asked if she had enough lemonade for their whole troop.  Julie knew this would help her get her last $6.00.  She said yes and started pouring a glass of lemonade for everyone.  When she served her last glass of lemonade she sat down to count her money.
Julie was very happy when she finished counting and she walked into her house with a big smile.  She had a very important question to ask her mom now, and hoped her dad didn't need the car today.
