Where do I look???

Have you ever picked up a book and just don't know where to look
for the author, illustrator, publisher or chapter titles?

 If the answer is yes, then let's look at the parts of a book together.

The title page is the first page in a book. 
The title page can give you a lot of information.

Marc Brown is the author of this book.  You can find his name on the title page.

The publisher, Little, Brown and Company  can be found on the title page too.

 that sure is a lot of information found in one spot!

After the title page comes the table of contents.
The table of contents names each chapter and tells what page it starts on.

The name of the chapters can be found here.

The page number that each chapter starts on can be found here.

As you can see the parts of a book can be very helpful to you. 
So remember to look inside before you read!
