= Story

When
writing stories be sure to
include:
Characters
Plot
Setting
Characters |

Characters
in the story can be: |
Real people you know or
make up.
Talking animals or creatures
you invent.
Cartoon characters you know a lot about. |
The
plot in a story are the events that
make up the story.
Let's

out the
plot of The
Three Little Pigs:

The pigs each build a house one
of straw, one of stick, and one of brick.

The wolf came along and blew
down the house of straw and stick, but could not blow down the house
of brick.

The wolf climbed the chimney of
the brick house, and when he went down he landed in the kettle of
boiling water.
The pigs lived happily ever
after. |
Setting |
The
setting in a story is the time and
place of the story.
The
setting of the old lady who lived in a
shoe is her shoe.
This is where the story takes place. |
Always
remember when writing stories to have
characters, plot and setting.
Having all of these things add up to a great story!
