Adjectives: Where to Find Them

  An adjective describes a noun (person, place, or thing).
    
       An adjective tells more about a noun (person, place, or thing).
    
       An adjective makes a sentence more interesting.
    
       An adjective effects the meaning of a sentence.
    
       An adjective can be used to compare nouns.
    
      An adjective can come before or after the noun it describes.

Directions:  
1st  Click on the paper, then print the chart.



 

2nd  You will be reading a story titled, "Baxter's
       Howl-O-Ween."
3rd  As you read you will be finding the adjectives
      for the given
nouns and writing them on the
         chart.
4th  Remember...An adjective can come before or
       
 after the noun it describes.
5th  Click on the pumpkin to read the story. Be sure
