Using a capital to begin a word is call capitalizing the word!

Be a word detective.

 

Read the paragraph. What do you notice? Do you see anything that might be missing? If you had written this paragraph, which words would you have capitalized? Keep this point in mind as you read the paragraph. How about touching the letters that you think should be capitalized.
     

        my family went to disney world in orlando, florida for a fun filled vacation. we left on friday, march 29, from hancock airport. kevin, marie, tim, and matthew met us there. my friends and i went on many thrilling rides. my favorite was space mountain. we returned home on saturday, april 7. our trip was fabulous!
