CHILDREN LEARN TO CAPITALIZE
PROPER NOUNS!

Part 1...Capitalize Specific Names!!!

On a bright, sunny day in May, second graders from Star Street Elementary School learned about capitalizing proper nouns. This is the first article in a three part series. The children are eager to report on their findings.  Listen to what they have to say ...

Proper nouns should begin with a capital letter.

A proper noun names a specific...
                                          person,
                                          place,
                                          or thing
!
