     Growing a flower is easy. First, you fill a pot with soil. Next, push a seed about one inch deep into the soil. My mother likes plants. Cover the seed with soil, then water the plant. Within days, it will begin to sprout.                             

                                                


 

 
     Prairie dogs are members of the squirrel family. These ground-dwelling squirrels dig a complex series of tunnels deep into the ground -- called a town! Hundreds of prairie dogs live together in towns that can cover hundred of acres of land! My town is named Red Creek.
                                                   


 

 
     Halloween night was very scary. My friend dressed up like a witch. Her dad answered the door dressed like a goblin. I love Christmas. He screamed BOO, and I ran away.
                                                


 

 
     Have you ever swam in the ocean? It is very different from swimming in a lake. The ocean has salt water and a lake has fresh water. The ocean has sharks, but the lake does not. Swimming in a pool is fun to do. Waves in the ocean are much bigger than waves on a lake.
                                                     


 

 
     Puffer fish protect themselves from predators by blowing up. When they blow up, spikes come out. I like to go on my boat. Puffer fish eat clams, shellfish and mussels. The puffer fish live in the Red Sea in Egypt.
                                                 


 

 
     I have a dog. My new kitten is cute. She has fluffy, white fur. She is as fluffy as a snowball. Her tail is as long as a snake. It swishes from side to side. She loves to lick her paws.
                                              


 

 
     Listen carefully and do exactly what I say. Go right to the store and buy the new Chatty Cathy doll. It looks and sounds real. All you have to do is touch her hand and she talks. My mom thought it was me talking. She walks too. The doll sounds really fake. Buy it and see for yourself.
                                                  


 

 
     Once upon a time there were three bears. They went for a walk in the woods. While they were gone a girl named Goldilocks entered their home. My friend is six years old. She fell asleep in their house.
