My Dog Chewed
Up My Homework
by Bruce Lansky
Line 1 I'm glad
to say my homework's done.
Line 2 I finished it last night.
Line 3 I've got it right here in this
box.
Line 4 It's not a pretty sight.
Line 5 My dog
chewed up my homework.
Line 6 He slobbered on it, too.
Line 7 So now
my homework's ripped to shreds
Line 8 and full of slimy goo.
Line 9 It isn't much to look at,
Line 10
but I brought it anyway.
Line 11
I'm going to dump it on your desk
Line 12 if I
don't get an A.
