Materials:
Spinner or dice with the questions:
WHO?,
WHEN?, WHERE?, WHAT?, WHY?, HOW?
4 -5 Short stories at student reading level.
Procedure:
Break students into small
groups of 4-5 students.
One
student in each group is chosen as the reader.
The
reader reads the short story out loud to the group.
Students take turns rolling the die and answering the "Wh"
questions.
The
reader verifies or corrects the answer.
The
game continues until each child has a chance to be the
reader.
