When frogs hatch from their eggs, they are called tadpoles. Tadpoles live in the water and breathe with their gills. Frogs live on lily pads. When they are first born they have no legs. Tadpoles swim with their tail.

Benjamin Franklin was very interested in electricity.  One day he tried a very dangerous experiment to prove that lightning was electricity.  He attached a key to a kite string and flew the kite during a thunderstorm.  When the lightning hit the kite, sparks flew from the key.  Benjamin Franklin proved that lightning was electricity.

Kangaroos are primarily herbivores. Kangaroos eat grasses, leaves and roots. Kangaroos live in family groups called mobs. They only like grass that is green and close to the ground. They generally feed early in the morning and late evening towards sunset.

Lacy wanted a pet.  She went to the bookstore to buy a book about rabbits.  She wanted to find out how to take care of rabbits.  Then Lacy and her Dad built a pen for her new rabbit. Then Lacy dressed up like a rabbit for Halloween. Lacy and Dad went to the pet store and picked out a black and white rabbit.
