Let's practice telling the difference between the pictures and the print on pages of a book.  Let's pretend you are reading a book and I ask you to find either the print or the pictures.  Listen to what I ask you to find, and then click on it.  For example, look at the first page from our pretend book, listen to the story and then find the picture on the page. Click on it.

Janie loves her teddy bear Bibs.  He is a good friend. They play together every day and Janie always tells her secrets to Bibs.

Let's try some more.  Look at the pages from our pretend book and listen to the story. Listen to what I ask you to find, then click on it.

Janie got Bibs as a gift one Christmas.  She went to bed all alone Christmas Eve but when she woke up, Bibs and a present were next to her bed.  Janie was so happy!

Every once in a while, Janie has to leave Bibs at home. Bibs feels sad when Janie is gone, but he knows that she will come back soon.  When she comes back, Janie will give him a big kiss and hug and then the two of them will play together for the rest of the day.

Janie also felt sad when Bibs was alone, so one Christmas, she wrote Santa a letter. She asked Santa to bring a teddy bear friend for Bibs.  That Christmas morning, Smiles was in Janie's stocking.  Bibs had a new friend!

Even though Bibs had a new friend, he was still happiest when he and Janie were together and Janie was telling him her secrets.  So was Janie!
