Always begin writing a sentence with a capital letter.

Without capital letters, how would you know where each sentence begins?

                         

Even though this paragraph has proper punctuation,
it is still difficult to read.

   it was the first day of school. the children were eagerly waiting for the school bus. all the children were excited about meeting their new teachers and friends. this was the first year they were all old enough to join band and intramurals.  it was going to be a wonderful school year!
