Lori was getting excited because her birthday was coming up.  She invited all of her friends from school to her birthday party as well as a few of her friends from summer camp.  She really wanted a dog, but she wasn't sure if her parents would allow her to have one.  Her party was great, and she received a lot of neat presents.  That night, she went to bed.  Just as she was starting to fall asleep, she felt something on her check.  She looked up, and there was her brand new puppy licking her face!  Lori had the dog she had always dreamed of, and she also had the best birthday ever!
