of the Yellow Brick Road
I just
watched an exciting,
adventurous
movie called, The
Wizard of Oz.
I laughed
and screamed as I watched it. This movie had me waiting on the
edge of my seat for what would happen next!
It starts
with this beautiful girl, named Dorothy, who was lifted up in a
tornado and moved from Kansas to Oz. She meets Scarecrow, Tin
Man, and Lion. Dorothy misses her family and wants to go back
home. Scarecrow wants a brain, Tin Man wants a heart, and Lion
wants courage. They have to see the wizard to see if he will
give them what they wish. The Wicked Witch of the West is
trying to make their journey a hard one. She casts
spells on them to try to keep them from seeing the great wizard.
My
favorite part is when Dorothy is at Munchkin Land. This is the
first place she visits in Oz. All of the munchkins come out
and welcome her. They all sing a little song for
Dorothy. I love songs and dances. Every time I see this
part and I want to sing along with the munchkins.
I won't
tell you the ending of this movie because I think you should watch
it yourself. This movie is filled with songs, laughs, and
tears. It is a great movie about friendship and dreams.
