A present-tense verb tells about actions that are happening now. Add s or es to most present-tense verbs when the subject of the sentence is he, she, it, or a singular noun. Do not add s or es to a present-verb when the subject is I, you, we, they, or a plural noun.

Examples:

Jimmy's family sells apples.
He watches the harvest.
The apples grow on trees.
