Conferencing is an important part of the writing process.
(It will help you improve your writing.)


 

 

Who can you conference with?

 

 

Conference with your teacher.

Conference with other students.

 

What do you do at a conference?

 

  With your teacher:
    *  Read your story aloud.
    *  Point out things you did well.
    *  Mention what you would like help with.
      *  Make changes to your writing.
    *  Read your story again with changes.

 

 With a partner:
       *  Read your story aloud.
       *  Your partner will tell you what he/she liked.
       *  Your partner may ask you questions.
       *  Make changes to your writing.
       *  Read your story again with changes.

 

Remember:

It is important to conference
during the writing process.
