Do you want to make your writing more interesting to read?

Then you need to vary the sentence structure.

This means that every sentence should NOT sound exactly the same.

Read these sentences.

Cara likes to read.  She reads
every day. She reads all kinds of
  books. She reads books about
animals. She reads books about girls
her age. She enjoys reading.  She
goes to the library every day for a
  new book.

These sentences all have the same SENTENCE STRUCTURE.  Each sentence begins with a noun or pronoun followed by a verb.

Cara likes

She reads

She enjoys

She goes

The paragraph can sound more interesting if you move the words around and start the sentences in a different way.

 For example:

Daily reading is part of her routine.

(instead of)
 She reads every day.

There are many kinds of books that she enjoys.

(instead of)

She reads all kinds of books.

Books about animals are some of her favorites.

 (instead of)

She reads books about animals.

The library is one of her favorite places.

 (instead of)

She goes to the library every day.

Now the story sounds like this.

Cara likes to read.  Daily reading
is part of her routine.  There are
many kinds of books that she
  enjoys.  Books about animals are
some of her favorites.  She also
reads books about girls her age.
She enjoys reading.  The library is
  one of her favorite places.

Remember... Every sentence does not have to begin with a noun, followed by a verb.

Look at other ways you can vary the sentence structure.

I went to the mall on Friday.

On Friday, I went to the mall.

Sally drew a picture in Art.

In Art, Sally drew a picture.

  Spaghetti is my favorite food.

       My favorite food is spaghetti.

I fell down on the way to
                  school.

On the way to school, I fell
                  down.
