Read and discuss the book with the children.  Show pictures of objects with patterns. Ask children to identify the object, the pattern, and where it may be located.   Have the children each complete a page for a class book.  They should each draw a picture of an object with a pattern.  Then they should each finish the sentence  "I see a ___________."
