Often in our daily lives we need to use fair shares. When we share a snack with our friends it is important to make sure each person gets a fair share of the snack. If you and a friend share 12 crackers you need to show 2 fair shares. The fair share may look like this. Each person would get 6 crackers. That would be a fair share.
Let's imagine you are sharing the 12 crackers with 2 friends. Now you will need to show 3 fair shares. This time the fair share would look like this. Now the fair share would be 4 crackers for each of the 3 people sharing the crackers.
If you are having trouble with fair shares try using "one for me and one for you".
