Number Sequences

Each box contains a number, and the numbers form a sequence or pattern. 

Each arrow represents a rule.

Apply the rule to find the next number.

Rule
Add 2

 

 

To complete this pattern you must start with the number in the first box, 10.   The rule says to "add 2." 

 Apply the rule  10 + 2 = 12. 

Continue this pattern, adding 2 more to each new number.

                                                12 + 2 = 14

                                                               14 + 2 = 16

                                                                                16 + 2 = 18
