Properties of Zero

Zero means nothing or none.

If you have zero sisters  you don't have any sisters.

Zero is an even number.

Any number that ends with a zero is an even number.


 

When zero is added to a number, the sum is the original number.

1+0=1

2+0=2 3+0=3 4+0=4 5+0=5
6+0=6 7+0=7 8+0=8 9+0=9 10+0=10

When zero is subtracted from a number,  The difference is the original number

1- 0=1

2-0=2 3-0=3 4-0=4 5-0=5
6-0=6 7-0=7 8-0=8 9-0=9 10-0=10
