Answer these math problems that we might see everyday.

  1. There are 20 students in Mr. Link's class.  If 9 of them are boys, how many of the students are girls?

   

  2. Austin has 56 baseball cards that he wants the share equally among his 7 friends.  How many cards will each of his friends receive?   

  3. School starts at 9:00 a.m.  Maggie has reading until 11:00 a.m. and then math for another hour.  What time does Maggie finish  math?
        

  4. John needs a new bike.  The bike costs $86.00, but
    he only has $70.00.  How much more money does he need?  

         

  5. Cindy orders a pizza for her family.  There are 8 slices in the pizza.  There are 4 people in her family.  How many pieces of pizza will each person get if everyone receives the same amount? 
6. Lisa dances for 30 minutes on Monday, 65 minutes on Tuesday, and 43 minutes on Wednesday.  How many minutes did she dance altogether?
7. Mike is reading a book that has 220 pages.  He has read 112 pages.  How many more pages does he have left?
8. Tina sold cookies at a bake sale.  In the morning she sold 2 dozen cookies.  In the afternoon she sold 5 dozen cookies.  How many cookies did she sell altogether?
