When you Multiply by Multiples of Ten and One Hundred,

Examples:

3 x 1 = 3

3 x 10 = 30

3 x 100 = 300

     

7 x 1 = 7

7 x 10 = 70

7 x 100 = 700

     

9 x 1 = 9

9 x 10 = 90

9 x 100 = 900

If you know your basic facts,
then all you need to do is
"add on"
the number of zeros in your factors to your answer.
