When multiplying,
 your
product will depend
on whether the numbers factors are
odd or even.

When your factors are EVEN
your answer (product) will
always be EVEN

4 x 6 = 24
8 x 10 = 80
6 x 2 = 12

When your factors are ODD
your answer will
always be ODD

3 x 5 = 15
7 x 9 = 63
5 x 5 = 25

When one factor is ODD
and the other factor is EVEN
your answer will
always by EVEN

6 x 5 = 30
3 x 8 = 24
7 x 4 = 28

Remember:
There are three important rules
to remember in determining
odd or even products:

EVEN x EVEN = EVEN
ODD x ODD = ODD
ODD x EVEN = EVEN
