Answer the questions by estimating
                                      the number of objects.


A horse drinks 5 times in one hour. 
Estimate the number of times the horse will drink in 4 hours.

       


 

If you counted 20 beans in one-fourth of a jar.
Estimate the number of beans in the total jar.

       


If you counted 20 beans in one-fourth of a jar. 
Estimate the number of beans in the rest of the jar.

       


Eight people can sit at each picnic table. There are a total of 10 picnic tables.  If about half of the tables are full. 
Estimate how many people are sitting at the picnic tables.
          

           




You counted 5 cows in one-third of the pasture. 
Estimate the total number of cows in the whole pasture.
