4th grade geometry vocabulary words can be easily grouped :

  • description of angles and lines 
  • names of polygons
  • names and types of triangles

Let's start with the words describing angles.  In the following graphic you are going to see one way to "learn" a word. The sample  word is acute angle, which goes in the center circle. Below is an example page with all boxes filled in correctly. The definition is found on this link, (click on Grade 4 and Math).  This page is just an example, so they are already filled in correctly.  Put it in a folder to study later.
