We use math every day.

Answer the following every day problems.

1.  There are 9 innings in a baseball game. 
     It is the 3rd inning, how many innings are left?

                                       

2.  You go to the store to buy a present for your parents. 
     The present costs $8 and you give the cashier $10. 
     How much change do you get back?

                                                      

3.  It is 3:30 pm, you have soccer practice at 6 pm. 
     How much time do you have until practice starts?

                                         

4.  Crystal swam 10 laps and did 8 dives at the swimming pool. 
     Dave did 5 dives and swam 12 laps. 
     How many more laps than dives did Crystal and Dave do?

                                                 

5.  Justin had 12 eggs.  He used 1/3 of them in an omelet. 
     How many eggs did he use?

                                                 

6.  April has 6 green hair ribbons, 5 pink hair ribbons, and 2 yellow hair ribbons. 
     What fraction of April's hair ribbons are pink?
