When doing math problems it is important to organize the information before starting.
After you have finished the problem, make sure you label your answer with the correct units.
Here are some examples.
How many quarters does Natalie have now? 7 + 4 = 11
But remember, we need to include the proper units. Natalie has 11 quarters.
How many goals did the 3 players score?
2 + 2 + 1 = 5
The 3 players scored 5 goals altogether.
