There is more than one way to display (or show) the same information.

Look at the different ways we can display the information about the number of books read by Mrs. Carroll's class.

The students in Mrs. Carroll's class participated in a read-a-thon for one month. The table shows the number of books students read during the read-a-thon.

Books Number
Mystery 25
Animal 20
Biography 10
Adventure 30

The data was organized in a table.
 

 


The same data can be displayed in a bar graph.
 

 


The data can be shown in a pictograph.
