   Multiplication Facts  

In a multiplication fact, the numbers being multiplied are the factors; the answer is the product.

5 x 10 = 50

factors (5, 10)

  product (50)


You can use a multiplication chart to find multiplication facts.
 

5 x 10 = 50
Locate the factor 5 along the top.
Then locate the factor 10 along the side.
Where that row and column meet, we find the answer
 ( 50 ).

                            Remember:

  Multiplication facts are 2 factors multiplied to get a product.
