We can use math to understand
the things around us.

We can estimate the number of:
apples on a tree
birds in the sky
wheels on a train
jellybeans in a jar

If you counted 5 apples in one
area of the tree,
You could estimate the number of apples in the whole tree.

on the fence,
You could estimate the number of birds in the sky.

on one car,
You could estimate the number of wheels on the whole train.
