 1. Mark has 3 granola bars. 
    Tim has twice as many as Mark. 
    How many granola bars does Tim have?
 

 

 2. Laura has 2 quarters, 2 dimes, and 1  nickel. How much money does she have?

 

 3. Dan bought groceries that cost $4.78. He paid with $5.00.  What was his change?

                            

 
4. Stan has 543 baseball cards.  Lou has 768 baseball cards.  How many more cards does Stan have?
 

 

  
 

 5. Bonnie has 12 pens.  She bought 3 more, and then gave away 6.  How many pens does she have now?
