Zero Property

Factors are the numbers multiplied to get a product.

                                  3    x    4     =   12
                                           factor   x   factor  =  product

 

If one of the factors is 0, the
product will always be
0.

0 x 4 = 0 4 x 0 = 0
0 x 6 = 0 6 x 0 = 0
0 x 27 = 0 27 x 0 = 0
0 x 316 = 0 316 x 0 = 0


Examples

3 targets with 0 arrows

3 x 0 = 0

                                                   There are 0 arrows in all.

                    


2 frames with 0 pictures

2 x 0 = 0
 

                                                    There are 0 pictures in all.

 

                               Remember: When one of the factors is 0,
                                                   the product is 0.
