Read the book aloud. Allow
children to join in as they feel comfortable with the pattern
and rhyme.
Reread the book. this time
have the children recall and act out the bear's actions in
order. The children should act out what the bears did first,
second and so on.
As an extension create a simple
list of things (1-5) for the children to do. For example
1st-touch your nose, 2nd-clap 2 times. 3rd-hop on one foot,
etc..
