When Kim looked under the barn door, she saw 12 horse legs.

How many horses must be in the barn?

 

One can of paint covers one half of a bedroom wall.

How many cans of paint will be needed to cover all four bedroom walls?

 

James emptied his piggy bank to buy an ice cream at the ice cream stand. He had all types of coins in his pocket. The ice cream he decided to buy cost $0.85. Identify different coin combinations to make 85 cents.

 

Which do you think is the best estimate for this activity?
4 years  4 miles 4 cups 4 minutes
