Question: How many fish are there in all?

You can count...
1, 2, 3, 4 ..... 13, 14, 15

You can add...
5 + 5 + 5 = 15

Or,
When each group
has the same number,
you can multiply.
3 x 5 = 15
groups x in each = in all

You say: Three times five equals fifteen.

Answer: There are 15 fish in all.

Example:

Count: 1, 2, 3, ... 7, 8

Add: 4 + 4 = 8

Multiply: 4 x 2 = 8
(When each group
has the same number.)
