Division
is an operation that tells
how many groups there are,
or how many in each group.

The
number you Divide by is called the DIVISOR,
The Number you are Dividing
up is called
the
DIVIDEND;
And the Answer you get is
the QUOTIENT.

the other is the Blue group.
There are 5 statues in each
group.

the total of 9 into 3 equal groups.

Tip:
When you are
dividing,
think of multiplying the number sentence in reverse .
