can be written as the fraction

as a fraction
is like
0.57 as a decimal
("fifty-seven
hundredths")
and converts to
$0.57 or 57¢ as
money

as a decimal
("eighty-four
hundredths")
is like
84/100
as a fraction
and converts to
$.84 or 84¢ as money
