Iroquois Rattles

 

 

  Native Americans used rattles to accompany their dancing and singing.  Rattles were also used in many types of festivals and ceremonies. The materials the Iroquois used to make their rattles came from many natural sources. Rattles varied in size and made different sounds and pitches.
