Map - A flat drawing of a place.

Globe - A model, or copy, of Earth.

North Pole - The farthest place north on Earth.

South Pole - The farthest place south on Earth.

Continent -
A very large body of land. Earth has seven continents: North
America, the continent where you live, South America, Asia, Africa,
Europe, Australia, and Antarctica.

Ocean - A very large body of salt water.
There are four oceans on Earth. The oceans are the Atlantic Ocean,
the Pacific Ocean, the Arctic Ocean, and the Indian Ocean.  |

Cardinal Directions - Cardinal directions are
north, south, east, and west.

- A guide that tells what the
